HELLO WE ARE NAMA
NAMA is a cultural center located in the heart of Milan's Municipality 2; a space where culture, sociality and creativity come together.
NAMA is a stage overlooking one of Milan's most multi-ethnic neighborhoods, with cultural programming designed to make the Martesana Amphitheater and its Park a landmark for the entire city.
NAMA is a socio-cultural hybrid space that hosts events, trainings, workshops, a coworking space, a workshop, and a recording studio-a hub that combines nature, art, and sociality.
In an often fragmented world, NAMA aspires to be an oasis of peace, collaboration and innovation between different cultures. It is not just a physical space, but a starting point for the creation of the "Martesana Park of Cultures": a cultural hub where nature, culture and sociality intertwine, transforming the park into a dynamic and creative place.
A place where culture becomes an engine for personal and collective development, inspiring everyone to explore new ideas, turn dreams into reality, and build professions and careers that enrich the community. NAMA is a hybrid and vibrant space where young people find opportunities to create, learn and dream, to share ideas and build projects.
NAMA is the place that puts itself at the service of the community by offering collaborative and innovative projects capable of building a common and alternative vision. The spaces, co-designed with neighborhood residents, are meant to be flexible and dynamic, capable of accommodating the different souls that populate Martesana.
